In the information on Dairy Products this is listed - •"BA" Vanilla 0% (added by Dr. Dukan). - what is it?

When you refer to white cheese - does this exclude cheese that has a yellow hue such as cheddar, etc

Cheddar is definitely off limits in the first two phases of the Dukan.

'White cheese' is probably a translation of fromage blanc which is something like Quark which is like cottage cheese.

Hello,

Yes Simon is right, you should understand "cottage cheese". You know, my mother tongue is French, so sometimes there's a bad translation here and there. Thank you for telling me, i will modify.

I just found Fromage Blanc 0% at our local Whole Foods in Venice, CA. Having had quark and cottage cheese, I'll say that the fromage blanc is nothing like either. It's a very smooth, tart, spreadable cheese that tastes a lot like sour cream. It was really delicious this morning spread over our galette with smoked salmon - and only 15 calories an ounce! No wonder Dukan promotes it for the diet.

Perhaps I missed it, but what is "BA Vanilla"?
