pv days verses pp days

Have just begun the Diet & lost 4lbs after 3 Attack Days & am now at the beginning of my Weightloss Phase however tomorrow is a PP day & I have to attend a business dinner , can I change a PV day For a PP or do I have to start Attack all over again??

You can devise your own PP / PV cycle (pretty much)

5/5 is the most radical
1/1 is the least radical

It all evens out over time. After 30 days you have still has 15 days PP and 15 days PV

Dukan initially recommended 5/5 because you continue to see fast weight loss (the price you pay is a more restricted diet for days in a row). However, you see less weight loss during the 5 PV days. The result is that the 5/5 dieter and 1/1 dieter see the same wieght loss after 30 days+.

It seems that he has come around to the ease but less initial speed of the 1/1 and so he now says in his book:

I am asking you to trust me and follow [this phase] using the 1/1 alternating rhythm

If you only need to lose a little weight, you could do 2 PP per week (and the rest PV).

I have chosen to do a 3/3 but this is more for practical reasons of buying loads of veg, keeping them fresh, planning meals etc.

My point is that you can afford to be flexible.

If I were you Davida, I would simply switch the PV and PP days around

I am in Germnany so I will give up on the PP and go PV for 3 days and even it out over may!
