Corned Beef ?
Corned Beef ?
I am only on day 2 of the Attack phase and I am kind of struggling. I can't wait for the book to be launched next month so I can swat up on it all.

Re: Corned Beef ?
Since the corn in corned beef refers to the 'corns' of salt used to cure the meat, I'm guessing that it's off limits in the Dukan diet. This is a guess though.
When you say 'struggling' do you mean with hunger pangs or finding things to eat?
Have you tried things like wafer-thin turkey slices, or chicken; smoked salmon, low fat cottage cheese or yogurts? You can have up to 4 hard-boiled eggs a week. I had a delicious dinner of poached salmon, cottage cheese and a boiled egg.
Good luck!
Re: Corned Beef ?
The beef is definitively allowed, but avoid rib steak, and the prime rib, which are too fat. The corned beef is in my opinion too fat, so you should avoid it.
You mentionned you're struggling. As I said in many posts, i'm not a nutrition specialist, i'm just a common people who started this diet with some success, and wanting to help.
I'm bilingual, speaking French and English. If I can help you with some recipes translations, let me know and i'll help you with pleasure

Re: Corned Beef ?
I'm on my last day of attack, & it was hard at first... but stick to it. Remember, you can be creative with what you have... here's an example of what I might have for breakfast/lunch/dinner:
Breakfast: 1 boiled egg & sweet oatbran pancake (made sweet using powder sweetener) OR savoury oatbran pancake with fried egg and smoked salmon OR just Greek Yoghurt (0% of course)!
Lunch: Salmon Fillets or chicken breast or peppered fillet steak with a yoghurt for dessert if you want 'dessert'!
Dinner: Chicken kebabs (left the chicken overnight in fridge, marinading in yoghurt & tandoori spice, stuck on skewers in the oven for 15 - 20 min)!
Remember to drink a lot, you can have unlimited tea/coffee with sweetener remember, diet coke/coke zero etc!
As a treat, just buy in some 'The laughing cow' cheese triangles EXTRA light (purple packet) you're allowed 1-2 a day
