Made this for supper and it was tasty.

Mix tandori seasoning (I used Schwartz) with low fat yogurt. Smear this over fish (use firm fish such as hake, cod or salmon or whole fish) and leave to marinade for as long as you can manage. Set the grill on high and get it roasing hot before grilling the fish in a grill pan. It taste bests if the tandori is a little burned. Serve with raita made from yogurt, mint, garlic and a little onion.

I think this would work really well with chicken too.

You are welcome Simon. I had the left over today and I ate it cold as I was so famished when I came home from work. It tasted better than yesterday and because it was cold the fish had firmed up nicely.

I went out for a 'curry' on Friday and had tandori scallops - I will definitely have to try them at home.

We've been making this about once a week - minus a few ingredients like sugar it's perfect Dukan fare:

Looks delicious but a lot of work. Will definitely try it one weekend where I'm not in such a rush.

Don't let all the ingredients fool you - it takes about 20 minutes start to finish.
Short version - mix spices, tomato paste, tandoori paste and yogurt together, rub on halibut. peel cucumber and julienne, toss with yogurt, mint and lemon juice. Sear halibut on all sides for a minute or so, then put pan in a hot over for a few more minutes. Remove from pan and serve over the cucumber/yogurt mix.

Couldn't be easier!
